GREATER TUCSON LEADERSHIP ELECTS NEW CLASS GRADUATES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
TUCSON, Ariz. (April 9, 2009) – Greater Tucson Leadership, a Tucson non-profit organization devoted to building leaders in the Tucson community, has added new board members from its graduating fall 2008 adult leadership class.
The recently graduated fall 2008 class chose classmates to serve on the Greater Tucson Leadership Board of Directors. The new Board members are:
Frank Greaney, Waste Management
Germar Townsend, Volunteer Center of Tucson
Polly Dithmar, Red Interior Design
Catherine Locke of Cox Communications is also a new board member, replacing the recently relocated Michael DiMaria of Cox Communications.
Greater Tucson Leadership’s elected Executive Committee Board Members remained unchanged and are:
Maricela Solis de Kester, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, who serves as President,
Wes Wiggins, Tucson Association of Realtors, serving as president elect,
Kate Breck Calhoun, Tucson Convention Center serving as secretary of the board, and
Jon Bruflat, Providence Service Corporation, who serves as treasurer.

Kristie Kilgore, Tetra Tech; Kelle Maslyn, Comcast; Suzanne McFarlin, McFarlin Consulting and Coaching;
Jean McKnight Guymon, Vail School District; Frank McCune, State Farm Insurance;
Lisa Reed, US Border Patrol; Patty Richardson, Casa Linda Designs;
Carol Somers, formerly of Southern Arizona Homebuilders Association; and
Elizabeth Zelinka, Zelinka and Prince Search Partners.
Greater Tucson Leadership is a local non-profit that works to inspire, develop and promote leadership in Greater Tucson through educational programs and community events that inform and motivate action. Leadership classes, taught by community leaders, are offered twice a year to select individuals to enhance their knowledge of the community and cultivate their leadership skills. Graduates of the classes actively participate and make a difference in Greater Tucson.
