TUCSON LEADERSHIP
GTL Elects New Board Members
TUCSON, Ariz. (September 27, 2005) -- Andrew Greenhill has been elected
president of Greater Tucson Leadership, a Tucson non-profit organization
devoted to building leaders in the Tucson community. Greenhill, chief of
staff for Mayor Bob Walkup, is a graduate of the 1999 GTL class. He has served
on the board of directors for six years.
Elected Executive Committee Board Members are: Kim Ferranti,partner
of Albanese-Brooks Associates Architects who will serve aspresident-elect. Roger
Watson, elected as secretary, Randall Brookshier,
Hammel & Co., as treasurer and Jean McKnight Guymon, will
serve as immediate past president.
New board of directors’ members include: Jon Bruflat, Hammel & Company,
PC, Kate Calhoun, Tucson Convention Center, Monica Castillo,
University of Phoenix, Kerrah Cutter, Volunteer Center and Americorp
Volunteer, Britton Dornquast, Hear’s Music, Judy
Kiyama, University of Arizona, Monique Martin, Councilman
Ronstadt’s Ward VI Office, Suzanne McFarlin, Building
Connections Through Communities, and Maricela Solis de Kester,
Carondelet Foundation.
Continuing board members are: Michael Luria owner of Café Terra
Cotta, Fred Peterson, Mesch Clark & Rothschild PC, Mitchell
Basefsky ,Tucson Water, Randy Accetta,
Eller College, Les Caid, Chief of Rural Metro Fire Department, Marcia
Klipsch,University of Arizona, Frances McNeely,Pima
County Attorney’s Office, Katherine Galgiani, retired, John
Liosatos, Pima Association of Governments, Patty Richardson,
Tucson Association of Realtors, John Tabor, Crisis Pregnancy
Centers,and Anthony Wright, YMCA.
Greater Tucson Leadership is a local non-profit that works to inspire, develop
and promote leadership in Greater Tucson through educational programs and community
events that inform and motivate action. Leadership classes, taught by community
leaders, are offered each year to select individuals to enhance their knowledge
of the community and cultivate their leadership skills. G raduates of the classes
actively participate and make a difference in Greater Tucson.
