Greater Tucson area professionals interested in
developing their leadership skills, learning about the region, and beginning
their civic involvement.

Program Schedule:
Five evening sessions and a closing
reception comprise the Emerging Leaders program. The class schedule takes place
every Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm – 9:00pm beginning in mid May, but dates
are subject to change. Class members will also be required to attend all
sessions.
Content Emphasis:
Introduction to Greater Tucson Issues: Introduction
to Regional Priorities and Current Greater Tucson Issues (e.g. Education,
Government, Economic Development and Environment.)
Community and Organizational
Leadership Skills Training: Planning, Presentation and Collaboration Skills and
Active Citizenship
Leadership Opportunities and Next Steps: Call-to-Action
Opportunities, Short-term Class Service Project
Program Fees:
2009 program fees
are $499 per person and include all required program materials, and meals.
